My Story

My name is Ben Kinsella, and I am lucky enough to live on the West coast of Ireland.

I have always felt that Irish people do not make the most of the amazing resource we have on our doorstep: the sea. 

My partner is a regular sea swimmer, so back in 2021 I created a Galway tide calendar for her as a Christmas present.

I have some software programming experience, so rather than creating a boring "table table" with numbers, I came up with what I thought was a nice visualisation.

At first we gave away some calendars to friends and family, and in 2022 we sold over 200 calendars just in our local area. I created this website to try to reach more people with the 2023 edition.
